in and out of Cyberjaya with public transport

Rarely, when the car breaks down, Ayah had no choice but to take public transport to office.

To Cyberjaya:

1. Either take the Komuter , or bus to the Kuala Lumpur station, after KL Sentral. *Ayah accidentally bought the ticket to KL Sentral, thinking that Kuala Lumpur station is before KL Sentral (lama tak naik komuter dah), but the fare is actually the same, i.e. RM2.10. Plus, at the Kuala Lumpur station pun, nobody was there to check the ticket. The machine was faulty that day, the attendant left a big dustbin written “Buang Tiket Di Sini” (Throw The Ticket Here).
2. When you alighted from the Komuter, find a signage that points you towards Pasar Seni. Walk towards Pasar Seni, across the bridge. *Be careful, if you use the wrong exit, you will take more time to walk around the big station to get to the other side. Years ago, there was no signage, Ayah and friends were walking around and around to find the correct exit haha.  
3. Walk about 800m along the Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, (towards the Maybank building), all the way till you can see the big Mydin supermarket. You’ll see buses in front of Mydin. *The waiting place used to be beside the river, but after the renovation, they move it further away. No choice I guess, since there are lots of buses going by in the city center. 
4. Don’t wait there, walk around to the other side of Mydin. *Lucky Ayah asked a bus driver instead of waiting there. Saved my time. RapidKL should do something about this, no proper signage indicating that there are still another bus stops BEHIND of Mydin. 
5. Take E1 bus to Putrajaya Sentral. *The ride may take between 30min- 1 hour, depends on the traffic.  
6. Take U429 to Cyberjaya.

*Or if you’re in a rush or wants to spend more money, you can always skip Step 2 to 5 by taking KLIA Transit to Putrajaya Sentral. Damage? RM9.50.

**Another alternative is, take LRT from KL Sentral towards Bandar Tasik Selatan and take KLIA Transit to Putrajaya Sentral. Damage? RM3 + 5.30 = RM8.30

From Cyberjaya:

1. Take U429 to Putrajaya Sentral. RM1.90. *Or ask any kind soul from your office to drop you off, this may saves you up to 30 minutes of waiting time! 
2. Take U43 to Bandar Utama, mention to the driver that you’ll stop at Western Digital.  
3. When you notice that the bus is going over the huge famous LDP flyover, which KL-ites are fond of calling “Penang bridge”, press the button to alight. 
4. After alighting, just walk along the road back towards the huge flyover. *Ayah noticed that now there are metal fences built on the road side. Excellent effort to protect the pedestrians from snatch thieves or the speeding cars! If you are at the right time, you will have hundreds of factories worker, mostly females, walking with you along the road after they finished their shifts. 
5. Cross carefully the weird crooked intersection under the “Penang bridge”, and voila! The Setia Jaya Komuter station awaits you!

*Step 2 is much faster, than taking the E1 bus all the way towards KL.

If you are regular, there’s always DTS for you. The Dedicated Transportation System, designed especially for Cyberjaya. It costs around RM200-250 for monthly passes. There are weekly passes too. *Ayah did contemplate taking this before, but the pick-up points being Plaza Masalam or Summit USJ are quite inconvenience though (need to pay parking, oil to get there, jams, etc.) Sorry nature, I’m still driving to work :)=

adi dan anas

Adi – Payah nak makan. Hulur la apa, payah nak masuk.

Anas – Senang makan. Hulur je, semua masuk.

Adi – Senang makan ubat. Pernah sampai nangis sebab nak makan lagi.

Anas – Payah makan ubat. Selalu berperang bila nak paksa makan.

Adi – Suka pakai kopiah. Pantang nampak kopiah, nak pakai.

Anas – Payah nak lekat topi atas kepala. Panas kot sebab cepat berpeluh.

Adi – Senang senyum. Senyum simpul pulak tu. Memang cair nenek2 tengok.

Anas – Muka saya sangat serius dan macho. Senyum pun lepas kena agah lama2.

Adi – Pandai pilih baju. Nak pakai baju biasa hari- hari je. Baju melayu dan baju kemeja kena ugut.

Anas – Boleh je pakai baju apa2. Eh tapi maybe sebab tak pandai pilih lagi kot hahaha.

Adi – Suka berkepit dengan Opah. Dengan Atuk payah sikit (tapi lately dah ok dah)

Anas – Suka benor kat Atuk. Dari jauh lagi melambai.

Adi – Lasak tu lasak jugak, tapi hati sensitif, kaler pink, ada taman bunga.

Anas – Nampak gaya macam lasak banyak ni. Jangan besar esok- esok buli abang awak, udah le haha.

Hmm lagi apa eh. Ummi, kalau ada tertinggal lagi, sambung la ye.

Happy Birthday Adi

On 27th August 2009, i gave birth to a boy and we named him Syed Adi Hatmi.

3 years has passed, Adi has grown up & has became a big brother.

Happy 3rd Birthday my beloved Adi. Ayah, Ummi & Anas love you so much.

May Allah bless you & may you grow up to be a pious muslim.

Selamat Hari Raya

Pre- raya

Misi menghabiskan lauk di rumah. Salah satunya sardin. Roti pun nak kena habiskan. Ayah decided utk buat sardin roll. Balik kerja terus buat. Tak payah pegi param hihi. Duduk di opis pun dok pikir nak balik rumah. Ayah dah lama tak buat sardin roll. Check kat myresipi.com, ada bagi petua suruh kenakan roti dengan air before celup dengan telur, baru senang melekat dan tak resap minyak. Kira ok la, bole buat bukak posa. Adi pun makan jugak sikit.

Flight kami blk kampung hari rabu pagi. Kawan ummi mostly kata awal betul ummi cuti. Tapi alhamdulillah gak ayah beli tiket hari rabu, org x ramai lagi kat airport.

Iftar Adventure

Last weekend was the final weekend before raya. So, Ayah has decided to take us all out for iftar. We didn't really plan anything. Since ummi wants to find something at Empire, Subang, so we plan to go for iftar there.

In the car, Ayah has mentioned there could be possibility that all restaurants are fully book. It turned out to be true. Alhamdulillah both ayah & ummi are not the picky type. We left Empire & stop by the road side to think where should we go next. It was already 715 then. Due to the short time, we agreed to go to a place where no reservation required & wide. So we headed to the food court at Carrefour.

Alhamdulillah, we're just in time for iftar. Ummi has chicken chop & ayah had chicken rice. The chicken rice was really delicious and we ordered a second plate for adi &anas. Adi throw his tantrum for a while. Lucky us the place is so wide and adi's screaming didn't bother other people.

We guess that's the blessing in disguise. Even though we only eat at a food court, but get to taste the delicious chicken rice & eat peacefully.

We'll definitely go there again for another round of chicken rice. Hehe.

puasa berempat

Bulan puasa. Anas dah bole berdiri berpaut kat meja dan duduk. Tapi masih lesen “L” untuk duduk lepas berdiri. Rajin panjat meja, lepas tu jerit2 tak dapat turun haha. Makan pun dah macam- macam. Sekarang ni makan kat dapur senang sikit, ada high chair. Tapi Anas pun kadang- kadang tak mau duduk. Kena cepat2 letak, lepas tu terus bagi makanan, baru senyap sikit. Masih lagi nak berdukung manjang.

Adi pulak dah 3 tahun kalau ikut tahun Hijrah. Dah pandai kira 1 2 3 dah dalam English, tapi pelat la hehe. Bismillah pun dah bole dalam pelat- pelat tu. Makin rajin baca Amin sekarang. Waktu berbuka kena baca doa kuat- kuat, so that dia boleh Amin.

Pasar Ramadhan Pinggiran makin banyak kedai bukak. Dekat warung sate pun makin ramai bukak. Choices tak banyak lah, tapi jadi la, dari bersesak kat stadium dengan Seksyen 20 tu. Untung Ayah Ummi, dua- dua tak cerewet bab makan, ala kadar sudehh. Beli kuih dalam 2-3 mata, lepas tu beli air, setel. Tu pun kadang- kadang masak sendiri, air pun buat sendiri.

Tahun ni raya insya Allah balik KB. Hajat di hati nak naik keretapi, sekali baru tahu yang KTM tiket raya pantai timur, 2 bulan sebelum sudah jual. Lepas tu diorang kata, bukak online kaunter 8.30, by 10.30 tu dah abis jual biasanya. Rezeki syarikat kapal terbang jugak ada orang naik balik raya. Nak bawak keta, takut jem teruk. Harap2 tahun depan, highway LPT dah siap sampai hujung, boleh la drive lancar sikit.

Majlis iftar surau an-naim

Semlm 17 Ramadhan cuti nuzul quran kat selangor. Ummi sorang je keje sbb KL x tak cuti. Since nursery pun tutup, kami semua tido kat rumah opah. Pagi, ayah hanta ummi g keje & balik amik kat lrt. Best2.
Malam pulak ada iftar kat surau an-naim kat rumah opah. Anas dok dgn ummi, adi plk dengan ayah. Alhamdulillah dua2 baik. Anas tido masa org solat maghrib, adi pulak dok main tp x kacau org solat. Mungkin jugak sbb kat surau tu xde budak2 mcm surau kat pinggiran. Dpt snap pic anas je, sbb anas dok dgn ummi. Muka anas masam je. Ngantuk kot masa tu.
