kiub- kiub makanan Adi

*entri ni patutnya lama dah post kat sini..gambar pun dah lama dah snap, ogos dulu haa...cuma x terupdate...takpe, butter late then never.

salah satu kelebihan bila adanya freezer ialah ummi bole start masak utk adi...plannya ialah masa weekend masak, pastu blend, pastu bubuh dalam kiub, freezekan...so, kurang la sikit keje opah masa weekdays (tambah2 masa bulan posa nak masak utk berbukak and whatnot), cuma kena panaskan je kiub2 makanan ini, dan campur dengan bubur nasi...

so, masa weekend tu, masak:

ni ayam dan bayam...

yang ni, caulitatoes...kentang + cauliflower...

pastu blend, dan bubuh dalam kiub:

bila dah sejuk, keluarkan dan bubuh dalam bekas lain (nak buat space utk buat ais utk minum masa bukak posa sebenarnya...besar punya!):

nampak macam lagi sedap pulak, bila dalam kiub...

resepi ni sume dapat dari website ni haa... Sharing is Caring

sekian dulu, ayah melaporkan.

antara mereka yang datang

hepi dapat besdey kad, ke hepi ada kad utk digigit...mana2 la...

upacara penyampaian hadiah

hadiah besdey...sepersalinan pakaian utk melaram...

pastu, esok paginya telepon atuk nenek di KB...dapat cakap dengan tok ayah je, sebab mok keluar ke bandar dengan ami khairul..rupa- rupanya ami khairul balik KB satu famili...haah kan cuti panjang...nuzul quran lagi, merdeka lagi...tok ayah pun cakap la dengan adi sikit2, tapi adi macam biasa la, tengok je tipon tu...takpe la tahun ni raya insya Allah balik KB adi jumpa la tok ayah dgn mok sekali...

diam tak diam, tak sangka, dah setahun dah ayah dgn ummi jadi parents...macam2 kerenah, mcm2 trick, mcm2 hal ayah dgn ummi kna blajar dan figure out...takpe la, hopefully bila giliran adik- beradik adi nanti, dah ada pengalaman banyak dah hehe...

sebab adi dulu lahir bulan puasa, maka tahun ni jugak tahun kedua ayah dgn ummi berpuasa dgn adi... tahun lepas, ummi dalam pantang, tahun ni bole la solat dan jaga adi...tapi solat di rumah je la hehe...ayah pun kadang- kadang terawih 8 je, sebab nak balik cepat kalau ummi banyak bende nak buat kat rumah...kira ok la jugak sebab banyak jugak hari ayah buat 20, at least dari tahun2 dulu, jarang sangat sangat buat 20...

lagi, adi selalu bukak puasa sekali...nak senang letak adi kat meja makan, ummi belikan baby chair yg tinggi tu...snang adi join skali bukak puasa... pastu snang jugak waktu2 lain nak bagi makan...adi dah makin aktif, kalau duk dalam carseat mcm dulu, selalu nak keluar...

kami!

ok la eh..tu dulu.

Adi with new freezer!

Puasa nak dekat dah, lagi 5 hari. Maknanya, birthday Adi dalam bulan Islam pun dah dekat. Bulan omputih pulak jatuh masa Nuzul Quran tahun ni.

Anyway, sempena puasa nih, dengan ruang dalam peti sejuk Opah makin banyak di'conquer' EBM Ummi, Ummi telah memutuskan untuk membeli 'chest freezer' baru, khusus untuk menyimpan EBM. Boleh la Ummi buat stok lagi banyak, tak payah risau ruang tak cukup dah, especially bulan puasa, sebab ramalan kaji cuaca mengatakan bila Ummi puasa, badan kurang air, maka kurang la susunya. Kena la buat stok banyak- banyak selagi ada.

* Ayah baru balik kerja, terus pasang freezer

Tukang belinya, Ayah le, like usual hehe. Ingat nak beli yang used je, tapi tengok harga yang baru pun tak jauh sangat. Dapat la Hesstar 120 liter, with 5 years warranty, home delivery, kira ok lah kot.

Alhamdullilah, harapnya it's a good buy dan boleh tahan sampai semua dah habis menyusu.

* Cubaan Adi menggigit EBM yang masih beku

Full packed weekend

Last weekend was really a packed weekend for all of us. There’s a tahlil / kenduri doa selamat at Tok Mun’s house in Kerling on Saturday before noon. This is the first time for Adi & Ummi to go there, while for Ayah, the last time Ayah there is probably when Ayah still in primary school, haha! Since the kenduri is before noon, and we have to arrive early so that the keropok that Tok Ayah brought from Kelantan can be prepared for the meals, Ayah, Ummi and Adi have to go out early in the morning, around 8.30. No sleeping after Subuh for all of us :P!

First, we picked up Tok Ayah at Sg. Udang, and set forth to Kerling around 9 am. The journey took about an hour, till we reached near Lembah Beringin exit. Initially, Ayah wanted to go to Kerling via Tanjung Malim exit, instead of Rawang exit, to avoid driving at the state road in Rawang. Upon confirmation of Tok Din, we decided to embark at Lembah Beringin.

After the Lembah Beringin toll exit, there’s a T- junction. Since the first one is a road towards a golf club, the second one should be the correct way. That’s what we thought until we reached a dead end 10 minutes later! So, we went back to the golf club, and asked the guard if we can drive through the club to get to Kerling. To our surprise, he said yes, just follow the black car in front, and the another surprise, the black car turned out to be Ami Khairul’s car, hahah!

So, Ami Khairul led the way, of turns and corners, around the golf club, and the abandoned townships, to reach a kampong road, that led to Kerling. It’s so sad to see hundreds of abandoned houses along the road, including a school, with thick bushes. We wondered about the fates of the common folks who bought houses there, and even worse, what are the feelings of those who actually live there.

Around 10.30, we arrived at Tok Mun’s house. Some relatives already arrived, and some arrived later. By 12 noon, the event started and finished around 12.30. Adi had a wide place to crawl, and there were other babies too. Adi met Kak Isya, and the second cousin, Kak Alia Qisya too. At first, Adi seemed shy to be picked up by the relatives, but as the time went by, it turned out OK.

After Zuhur, Adi slept at the corner of the living room. So sleepy, that even when a coconut tree fell upon the roof (Tok Din asked a handyman to cut the tree, but due to the wrong arrangement, the tree fell upon the roof instead on the ground) with a loud thump, Adi stayed asleep undisturbed, to the amazement of the relatives.

Then, when Asar, after Ummi and Ayah had finished tea time with cempedak goreng (om nom nom..), Ummi waked Adi up to go home. We needed to go to Ami Khairul’s house to drop Tok Ayah there. Tok Dan and Acik Wati also followed us because they haven’t seen Ami Khairul’s house before. We left Kerling at 5.30.

With the heavy rain at the highways, we arrived safely at UK near 7 pm. After Maghrib, Ami Khairul invited all of us to dine at Istana Bambu, a new outlet near the MRR2 road. Adi already fell asleep when we headed there and continued to sleep till all of us finish dining! Thanks a lot Adi for helping Ummi and Ayah during dinner!

Lastly, we left UK, drop Tok Dan and Acik Wati at Sg Udang, and finally arrived home at 11.45 nite time. Freshly recharged, Adi is bright and active as before, while Ummi and Ayah fell tired after a whole day outside.

****

On Sunday, we went to Ayah and Ummi’s friend’s house, to attend an akikah and cukur jambul feast. Akif Falah is born in April, so he’s already 3 months plus by this time. There’s a lot of delicious servings, which majorly consist of lamb chops, lamb sweet sour, lamb beriani, lamb roast (omm nom nom..) and even durians! At living room, like usual, Adi had a wide space to crawl around, and he was joined by other crawling babies too, hahah! We went there at noon, and left around 2 pm, with full tummies.

Then, after Asar, we went to Tok Uda’s house at Bangi. It’s been awhile that we’ve been there. For Ayah, it is since the last Raya in 2008. Adi also met Kak Yin there too. Kak Yin has lots of toys, and she is kind enough to let Adi borrowed them. Around 9 pm, we drove back to Klang.

Whew! What a full packed weekend for all of us. From Kerling to Ulu Klang, and Shah Alam and Bangi. It’s tiresome but it’s not always that we can spend time visiting our relatives and friends like these. Nothing beats seeing the cheerful faces of Adi and his relatives looking at each other.

Ayah's new office and Adi's trip to KB

*First time doing email blogging from Ayah’s new office :D

It’s Ayah’s fourth day today at Exp*rian. Nowadays, since Ummi and Ayah are travelling separately to work, Ayah can go out little bit late than usual, like around 7 to 7.30 like that.

There’re plenty of routes to take to Cyberjaya, either LDP or Elite, even the kampung roads like Kg. Jln Kebun & Kg. Lombong (no tolls at all, wow! But the roads are damn worst conditions). With SKVE in free trials for July, Ayah just take Elite and then take SKVE to Cyberjaya. Pretty much 1-hour to get to office, which is much better than when Ayah was in Wangsa Maju, alhamdulillah. Insya Allah, once we move to Shah Alam next year, the distance will be much shorter.

So far everything’s good here. Parking lots are not that many in Cyberjaya. But since Ayah arrives early to work, Ayah just parked at the shop areas in front of the office. Worst come to worst, Ayah just park at the Park & ride, and take the free shuttle van to the office. Or walk the 1 km distance for 15 mins. Good for my lungs, I hope.

The new colleagues are nice, friendly, and accommodating. Ayah knows that an MNC like this is bound to have expats, but Ayah don’t expect to have these many expats. From Portugal, Iran, USA, India, Phillipines, to name a few. It’s kind of a new exposure to Ayah actually.

Enough about Ayah, how’s my big hero doing? Adi nowadays always, I mean always, climb up to stand, and like to tip-toe (is it a correct translation of “meniti”?) from bench to bench, like bed to the cabinet, desk to desk, chair to chair, like that. When Ayah or Ummi is sitting down, Adi also like to climb us up so that he can stand.

Meanwhile, Opah said Adi is sleeping less on daytime nowadays. Probably, it’s a part of growing up, huh? The front teeth is also started to show up even clearer, and they make up a nice addition to Adi’s adorable smile.

Last weekend, we went back to KB and met Tok Ayah, Mok, Nde Aida, and Abang Ariff. Adi seemed to be friendlier faster to them, compared to our home trip last May. The house is also introduced with Adi’s common “Tak Ada, Tak Ada” and loud shouts and tantrums. Beside that, Ayah noticed that whenever Abang Ariff around, Adi tends to stare at him, probably learning up what to do when he himself grow up :P

Ok, that’s all for now. This weekend, Opah and Atuk will held a kenduri doa selamat at Klang, and next weekend, there’ll be a kenduri tahlil at Tok Mun’s house at Kerling insya Allah. More faces for Adi to be familiar with, hehe.

Adi's love for food

Yesterday, Ummi had lunch with Ayah & Wan Cu at central market. [Menyibuk mode on] Om nom nom - Bunyi Ayah makan.[Menyibuk mode off]. Even though Ummi has been working at the same place as Wan Cu for about 3 months, this was actually the first time ummi met her. Also, this maybe the last time for Ummi and Ayah to have lunch together as Ayah will move to a new work place soon.

There were a lot of things that Ummi and Wan Cu talked about since we haven't meet each other for quite some time. Ummi asked Wan Cu about Adi's second cousin, Auntie Yan's son. Wan Cu said that he is now 6 month old and just started to eat solid.

This reminds Ummi on Adi's reaction when we first introduce him to solid. Mmg klaka. Even before Adi reach 6 months, he has shown his interest to eat. Tp tak dpt la nak bg mkn kan, we were afraid that is was still early for Adi. When Adi went for his 5 month old jap, Dr. Ho mentioned that we can now give Adi a bit of porridge a day just to get him ready for solid when he reach 6 months. So, about a week before Adi turn 6 months, we gave him his first porridge.

Mmg masa tu Adi tak saba sungguh la nak mkn. He really can't wait for Ummi to feed him until he actually bite the bowl. Mmg sgt la cute kan muka budak kalo tak sabar nak mkn. Kalo org dewasa yg buat gitu, camne rupenye eh?

Even until now, Adi's reaction towards food is still the same. He just love to eat. He can finish off a full bowl of porridge. Kalo org yg suapkan tu mcm slow nak suapkan, Adi mesti menjerit. Even if he just had his meal, he will shout for food  that others are eating. Alhamdulillah Adi's body is slim type mcm Ayah. Even he eats a lot, he is still small and slim. So tak dek la berat sgt nak dukung.

Ummi has been looking for the picture of Adi biting the bowl. Tak jumpe plak. Will ask Ayah if he saves it. Later will post if here.
