Tulip at Nakamachidai

Ummi has been staying in Yokohama for about 5 months now. However, last Sunday was the first time Ummi visited the Yokohama Jame' Mosque. It really reminds Ummi of the Masjid in Purdue.

That morning, Ummi met up with old friends from high school and went to flea market at Nissan Stadium in Shin-Yokohama. There were lots of cheap stuff (new and used). Ummi managed to get 2 used children story book and Thomas & Friends coloring plastic which kids and color and wipe off. All for JPY1000 only (but you need to have someone who can speak Japanese to help you bargain). This flea market is not open regularly. You'll have to check the website to know the schedule for the month (the website is in Japanese though).

There were some stalls selling food at the market. Thank God there is a stall selling halal food (the owner is Pakistani I guess). After eating, Ummi went to visit a friend's house in Shin-Yokohama for Zuhur prayer. Just like in TV, the house in very simple. After Zuhur, Ummi went to Nakamachidai (Blue Line, Yokohama Municipal Subway) to visit Yokohama Jame' Mosque.

Since Ummi doesn't know how to take the bus to the Mosque, Ummi decided to walk. It was a 20 minute walk from the Subway station to the Mosque. How to get to the Mosque? Ayah wrote about it here.

Someone told Ummi that before Spring start, we can see the tulip growing. Seems that Spring is coming.Weehoo.....can't wait to enjoy Cherry Blossom with love ones soon....

Adi ke Pasti

Hari ni dah hari ketiga Adi kat Pasti. Plan Ayah dan Ummi ialah untuk biasakan Adi kat Pasti, supaya satu hari nanti boleh hantar full day kat Pasti.

Hihi kena tutup- tutup pulak.

Lega jugak Pasti dah bukak kat taman kita. Sesi pagi, Pasti. Sesi petang, pra-tahfiz. Lepas berfikir panjang, decided untuk hantar Adi kat taska pagi, petang baru pegi Pasti. Setakat ni, ni arrangement yang paling senang. Tu pun Alhamdulillah Ustazah tu sanggup pegi ambik kat taska. Taska dah tak sediakan dah khidmat transport ni.

Pagi- pagi before gi kerja, Ayah drop Adi kat taska. Dalam 2.30, Ustazah tu datang ambik la. Sesi petang, 2.30 hingga 5.30 je. Cadangnya lepas 5.30 nak suruh Ustazah tu hantar balik taska, sebab takde beza pun dari segi bayaran kat taska, walaupun Adi kat taska sampai 2.30 je (dah la masuk pukul 9). Tapi bila pikir balik, memudahkan ustazah tu, dan nak bagi Adi lama sikit kat Pasti, biar je la Adi kat Pasti sampai Ayah balik ambik lepas kerja. Harap Adi dapat cepat biasakan diri kat Pasti dengan cara ni, lepas ni boleh hantar full day dah.

Bayar la lebih sikit over time, instead of overtime dari pukul 7 kat taska, so sekarang overtime kira dari 5.30 la kat Pasti. Takpe lah. Pra-tahfiz sebulan RM200, jadi sekarang ni total untuk Adi sahaja, RM400 + overtime Pasti. Dulu, RM200 + overtime taska.

Pra-tahfiz kat Pasti, ajar mengaji, hapal doa harian, yang penting sekali, Adi dapat kawan baru dan suasana baru. Penting untuk expose kan Adi dan bagi dia selesa berkawan. Kat Pasti ni lagi satu, umur 4 tahun semua kat tingkat bawah, 5 dengan 6 tahun yang kat tingkat atas, terbalik dari taska, taska 3 tahun ke bawah, semua kat tingkat atas.

Adi before masuk Pasti lagi, dah pick up Alif Ba Ta. Agaknya selalu dengar Ustazah kat taska tu ajar petang- petang. Tapi, still jugak Ayah nak hantar Pasti. Ummi pun sanggup chip in, so takde masalah la. Lain la kalau nak hantar Brainy Bunch ke 6-700 haha.
